This group covers the fluid end of our mulberry silk range: silk crepe with its fine matte grain, silk chiffon at near-transparency, and lightweight satin-faced silks that keep a liquid surface without weight. All are filament mulberry, degummed and piece-dyed, so colour sits deep and even rather than sitting on the surface. Because the yarn is fine and the weave open, these fabrics move constantly — they are chosen where a garment has to fall, gather or float rather than hold a shape.
