Overview

Buying textiles in Gujarat usually means assembling a chain yourself: one party for greige, another for dyeing, a third for printing, a fourth for embroidery, and a transporter who answers to none of them. Each handover is a place where shade drifts, width changes or a week disappears. VPAS ANANT operates as a single accountable supplier across that chain. We hold the relationships, sequence the processing, and hand you one delivery, one invoice and one person to call.

The range is deliberately broad on fibre and deliberately narrow on quality. Cotton in poplin, cambric, voile, canvas and slub; silk from dupion to crepe to organza; linen in shirting and suiting weights; viscose, modal and rayon for fluid drape; and blended bases built for print. Within each family we carry the constructions that behave predictably in production — because a textile that samples beautifully and then shrinks four percent in bulk is not a saving.

Characteristics

How we supply

Fibre breadth

Natural, man-made and blended bases under one supplier, so a collection does not need four vendors.

Greige to finished

Buy loom-state and process to your specification, or take a finished quality straight off the shelf.

Width and GSM control

Specifications are held per quality and checked at dispatch, protecting your marker and cut plan.

Repeat reliability

Approved lots are recorded so a re-order in month nine matches the drop from month one.

Consolidated logistics

Multiple qualities and processes packed into a single scheduled dispatch.

Costing clarity

Base rate, processing and freight are itemised so you can build a landed cost sheet without guesswork.

Applications

Programmes we run

Most of our textile supply work falls into one of these shapes.

  • Seasonal ready-to-wear buys across several qualities
  • Uniform and institutional programmes needing shade repeatability
  • Export orders with fixed shipping windows
  • Print capsules where one base carries many designs
  • Home and soft-furnishing yardage for interior brands
  • Sampling yardage for design studios and merchandising teams
Custom Sourcing

Custom textile sourcing

Give us the specification rather than the product name — construction, weight, width, finish and end use — and we build to it.

  • Construction development with partner weavers (count, reed, pick, width)
  • Base selection trials before a print or dye programme is locked
  • Greige buying with processing routed to the right unit for the finish
  • Substitute sourcing when an imported base becomes unviable on cost
  • Shrinkage, GSM and colour-fastness checks on request
  • Scheduled call-off deliveries against a production calendar

Why VVPAS. ANANT

Why work with us as your textile supplier

One accountable partner

The chain does not fragment across vendors — if a lot slips, one supplier owns the fix.

Trade-side knowledge

Two decades inside the Ahmedabad textile trade means we know which unit is right for which finish.

Built for production

We supply against cut plans and delivery calendars, not against a showroom visit.

Scales with you

From a first capsule of a few hundred metres to standing monthly programmes.

Questions

Frequently asked

Are you a mill or a supplier?

We are a sourcing and development house. We do not own looms; we work with a vetted network of weavers and processors, which lets us match each order to the unit best suited to it.

Can you supply greige fabric?

Yes. Greige can be supplied as-is, or processed through dyeing, printing and finishing to your specification before dispatch.

How long does a bulk order take?

Stocked qualities typically dispatch within a few working days. Dyed or printed programmes usually run two to four weeks depending on quantity, colour count and finish; woven development takes longer and is quoted case by case.

Do you provide test reports?

Shrinkage, GSM and colour-fastness checks can be arranged on request at the time of order; we will confirm cost and turnaround before proceeding.

Can you hold stock for a repeat programme?

For ongoing programmes we can plan inventory against a forecast so repeat call-offs move quickly. This is agreed in advance rather than assumed.
