Hand block printing at VVPAS ANANT is developed at Bagru and Sanganer clusters near Jaipur, where carved teak blocks are inked and struck by hand across the length. Each colour requires its own block and its own pass, so a five-colour print is five separate registrations placed by eye. Subtle registration variance between repeats is not a flaw — it is the signature of the craft. The offering spans cotton mul, poplin, Chanderi and silk bases, with vegetable and pigment inks matched to the buyer's palette.
