Fabric Overview

Tissue is a very fine, semi-sheer fabric woven with a metallic yarn — usually zari or lurex — running through the weft. The result catches light without shouting. It is the fabric of quiet luxury: layered over a heavier base for a bridal lehenga, cut as a saree with a contrast lining, or used as a dupatta to bring lift to an otherwise matte outfit. We stock tissue in silk, cotton silk and polyester silk constructions in cardinal palette and champagne, ivory, blush and gold tones.
