Two related families under one heading. Net is the open-mesh fabric — French, illusion, tulle, hexagonal — that is the primary base for bridal surface embroidery and layered volume. Lace is the finished ornamented cloth — chantilly, guipure, corded, eyelash — with the motif already worked into it.
