Plain dyed cottons and linens form the working backbone of most collections. We hold poplin, cambric, voile, twill and canvas in cotton; pure linen and cotton-linen in shirting and bottom weights; and glazed cotton and lining qualities for construction. Everything in this group is dyed solid, checked for shade against a standard and finished to a specified hand — soft, crisp or glazed. Because these are the fabrics that repeat season on season, lot-to-lot consistency matters more here than anywhere else in the range.
