Fabric Overview

Georgette is a plain-weave crepe fabric — the crepe twist gives it that slightly grainy hand and its characteristic dry, textured surface. It is sheer, breathable and drapes with movement rather than weight. The Indian occasion wardrobe runs on it: chiffon sarees, gown skirts, dupattas and layered lehenga overlays. Our stock includes pure silk georgette, viscose georgette and poly georgette in a wide colour range.
