Pleated fabrics are set at the mill — the pleat is baked into the polyester, satin or organza base at high temperature, which is why it holds indefinitely. We carry micro-pleat (1–2 mm), accordion (4–6 mm), sunray (radial from a centre) and box pleat constructions. The base fabric determines drape: pleated satin falls with weight, pleated organza holds volume, pleated polyester drapes cleanly at a controlled price.
