Imported fabric is sourced where a finish or consistency simply is not available domestically at the same standard. Korean and Chinese mills supply satin, crepe, georgette and organza with a very even surface, tight width tolerance and stable shade across long runs; European sources are used for specialist weaves and finer counts. These fabrics are chosen for programmes where uniformity across a large order matters more than handcraft character. Lead times are longer than domestic stock and are quoted honestly at enquiry.
